Dear Community members,

It is my pleasure to give you a status report of the Dash Core Team activities. Below, you will find our report covering activities performed through the end of December, grouped by the four strategic areas of focus for 2016.

  1. Software Development

    1. Dash core wallet - version 12.x (lead developer: @Evan Duffield (Unlicensed))

      1. the testnet is stable and moving on to the final phase of testing

      2. Launch is planned on 5th of February 

    2. Dash Evolution Web-Mobile Platform (lead developer: @Andy Freer (Unlicensed))

      1. recruitment for frontend position

      2. backend work

      3. specification

      4. preparing the project plan for February

    3. Dash wallet for Android - updated features (lead developer: @HashEngineering)

      1. Testing for 12.1 migration (new application planned after the release)

    4. Electrum-Dash wallet development (PM: @Balazs Kiraly (Deactivated))

      1. The wallet works on majority of platforms but there are some incompatibility issues with USB interface on Mac and Win10

      2. We are looking for help within Evo team to resolve these issues (right after 12.1)

    5. Mycelium integration

  2. Business Development

    1. Fiat Gateways (including Lamassu) project (PM: @Daniel Diaz (Deactivated), external vendor: GitGuild)

    2. ProtonMail Integration (PM: @Robert Wiecko (Deactivated), Lead developer: @Jon Kindel (Deactivated)) 

      1. Delays experienced on ProtonMail side due to the extensive work on the other features. Martin(Proton CTO) is occupied with internal activities and has no time to integrate Dash at the moment

      2. We are continuously sharing documentation and software updates with him (software build for Proton will be released together with 12.1)

    3. Wall of Coins

      1. Project plan shared at the beginning of the month

      2. Demo of the API done

      3. Project on track

    4. Active engagement on new potential partners and integrations

    5. New first sales rep recrutiment in progress

  3. Marketing and Communication

    1. Wachsman PR project

      1. Project Phase I concluded
